Build the skills required to lead clearly and intentionally in high-pressure school environments.
A facilitator-ready professional learning resource for school leaders who want to support staff without adding another program, initiative, or consultant.
THE REALITY
Leadership today is not calm.
It’s reactive staff meetings.
Polarized conversations.
Decision fatigue.
Public scrutiny.
Internal second-guessing.
Most professional development inspires.
Very little builds sustained competence.
Leadership Under Pressure Lab is where you build it.
WHAT THIS IS
A structured, twice-monthly leadership development experience for school leaders who want applied skill—not hype.
This is not:
• A motivational series
• A community forum
• Therapy for leaders
This is:
Applied leadership training grounded in mental health science and real-world systems leadership.
HOW IT WORKS
Each month focuses on one leadership competency.
Two live 60-minute sessions are delivered on the same day for scheduling flexibility.

• Replay access
• 2 PD hours per month

MONTHLY FOCUS
Each month centers on one leadership competency and builds depth across two sessions. Time in between sessions is meant for application and reflection.
April – Why Leadership Feels Heavy (Foundations)
Understanding pressure patterns, reactive cycles, and where breakdowns begin.
May – When the Environment Fuels the Stress
Reducing chaos created by unclear expectations, inconsistent systems, and structural triggers that drive reactivity.
June – What Challenging Behavior Is Really Signaling
Identifying the breakdown beneath avoidance, defensiveness, and power struggles before escalating response.
July – Responding to Behavior Without Escalating It
Responding intentionally with clarity, boundaries, and composure.
Beginning in August
In August, the full Leadership Under Pressure cycle begins with a structured, school-year progression focused on building the nine core competencies required for sustained, high-level leadership in complex environments.
Every session delivers a practical framework and an applied tool you can use immediately in your building.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Leadership under pressure is not a seasonal challenge.
It is daily.
Without structured skill development, leaders default to:
• Reactivity
• Avoidance
• Overcorrection
• Decision fatigue
• Internal self-doubt
Competence under pressure is built through repetition, application, and reflection.
This Lab provides that structure.
WHY THIS WORKS
Leadership Under Pressure Lab is grounded in:
• Mental health science
• Systems-level behavioral frameworks
• Real-world implementation inside schools
This is not theory.
It is structured, applied leadership development.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Each session delivers:
• A clear framework
• A real-world leadership application
• A practical implementation tool
No hype.
No busywork.
No surface-level discussion.
