If insight alone resolved trauma, therapists and healthcare professionals would be the least anxious, least reactive people in the room. We know that is not the case. Many high-functioning professionals understand trauma, have insight into their patterns, and actively use coping strategies, yet still experience anxiety, emotional reactivity, or physiological stress responses that feel disproportionate or persistent. This training explores why that happens, from a nervous system perspective, and introduces Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) as a trauma-informed intervention designed to support resolution rather than ongoing management.
